Christmas

Oh the fun of Christmas at Mimi and Pops. We got to make gingerbread houses- which of course Cody enjoyed eating... but he actually did a very nice job of putting the candies on his house. Cody had so much fun on Christmas morning and discovering all of his Santa gifts. He asked for a kitchen and Santa delivered along with a few other surprises. Mimi and Pop gave him this very cool little bike which he can grow into. It was so much fun watching him play with his new toys. Of course Matt and I might have to move out to accomodate all these new treasures but somehow we managed to get everything situated back in the house....with some sort of order.

Happy 2nd Birthday

It seems like just yesterday that Cody was born, but we celebrated his second birhtday with a party at the park with his friends and his Mimi and Pop. Then the next weekend we had anther yes another party with his Gigi and Papa in St. Pete. We had a Winnie the Pooh party complete with a pinata. The funniest part to us is that he could have cared less about the presents. All he wanted to do was play on the slide with his friends.

Decorating for Christmas

We had so much fun this year decorating and getting ready for Christmas. Cody was totally in to all that was happening. He wanted to help daddy get down all the decorations from the attic, help him unravel all the lights and put up the outside decorations. His favorite part was putting the angel on the top of the tree and every night when we turned on the lights he wanted to touch the angel. *Cute side note* Matt being the sweet husband that he is one night said that mommy was an angel. So from that night on Cody would say "touch the angel" and go and touch the angel on the top of the tree and then he would look at Matt and say "touch the other angel". Ok that simply melts a mommmy's heart.

just for fun November

Oh the silly faces of Cody. At almost 2 years old in these pictures he is so full of fun and life. We forget that to a toddler everything is fun. From trying to act like daddy by driving the car (highly supervised, no keys, and parking break :), eating pasta to putting on a cool jacket like daddy.
