Halloween

Well while we were in Atlanta we stayed with our dear friends and we got to celebrate Halloween with them. Cody was a Lion- which he wouldn't say without inserting the lion sound while saying lion. Maybe he just knew that mommy was going to ask him what a lion says. We had such a great time. We went to a great park and then went trick or treating. By the second house Cody had the trick or treating down pat. He would say trick or treat immediatly followed by thank you. He had really cute lion paws on so he had a hard time pickign up the candy but he quickly mastered it.

The Atlanta Aquarium

Last month we got to travel to Atlanta to see our good friends. We took the kids to the aquairium. If you haven't been there- You've got to go, what a great place. Cody and Kate Marie had a great time running around. Atlanta was so beautiful with all the leaves changing colors. What a great day. Cody wanted to see the seahorses.... of all things. After the adventure he has decided that he really liked the Bulaga whales.

tree hugger!

Today we were outside working in the yard and Cody out of nowhere said picture mommy! So I went inside and got the camera and what a cheez. He started pulling on the tree and making silly faces...what a goof ball.

Pumpkin Patch

This past weekend we took Cody to the pumpkin patch. here is a picture of him from last year sitting all nicely in the patch, this year was a very differnt story. This year he was everywhere! He was having a blast running around the patch and pat patting the pumpkins. While we were there we saw a friend from his class which was very very exciting. Cody kept on leaning dowan and saying hello pumpkin and patting it on the stem. When it came time to pick one out he couldn't decide between the largest pumpkins or the little ones that he could pick up, so of course we had to get one of each. What a fun time. Every morning he has to go and check to make sure the pumpkins and the scarecrow are still outside.

Go Noles

We went to the FSU game last week. Cody had a great time cheering for the Noles and loves doing the Chop. He is still talking about the loud airplane before the game and the fireworks. He honestly was watching the game and really enjoyed the cheering. He lasted the whole game and we only had to walk down the stairs 3 times! Our seats are right by the tunnel exit/entrance and he thought it was really fun to say hi to everyone who was coming up. He loved to give high fives after we scored! Go Noles.

Fun with my grandparents

Today Cody and I went to my parent's lake house to visit with Mimi and Pop and a very special visit with Mama and Papa (Cody's great grandparents). Matt was going to the FSU game with Uncle Jordan. Cody got to drive the boat with Pop and had a blast. He fed the ducks and had a great time with his Mama and Papa. We aren't sure who ate more bread, the ducks or Cody but it was such a sweet day. At the end of the day (without a nap by the way), he wanted to take pictures with everyone and kept on saying "one more". It was a beautiful day!

Here goes nothing

Well I have heard from my wonderful friends that blogging is a wonderful way to keep in touch with your friends. I am beginning this new journey and entering the world of blogging. I've been to the myspace and facebook world but I feel that I post pictures and share stories with those who don't really care. So here goes my blog. I love my family so much and I love telling others about the fun things that we do. Of course they might not be fun to others but I think by blogging my memories those who are interseted can check them out. So to our friends and family who check out our site, I hope that you enjoy reliving these memories of our journey as much as we are.
